Project Manager
Job Description
The Project Manager will oversee software implementation projects and ensure smooth delivery for our customers. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and a strong communicator, with a background in software project coordination and customer engagement. This role involves working with both internal teams and customers to manage project timelines, expectations, and outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage software implementation projects from initiation to completion.
- Work with customers to create business requirement documentation to scope project prior to project initiation.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and milestones in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals.
- Support resource scheduling and understand resource utilization to ensure efficient project delivery.
- Facilitate project meetings, including kickoff calls, status updates, and post-implementation reviews.
- Assist in troubleshooting customer system issues and coordinating with internal teams for resolution.
- Track project progress, mitigate project risks, and help ensure on-time delivery.
- Document and report on project updates, risks, and key performance metrics.
- Learn and utilize project management software to manage customer project and to report progress to internal stakeholders.
- Support end-users by providing training resources and guidance as needed.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in project management, software implementation, or customer support.
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Celoxis, Smartsheet, JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint, or Teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience with QuickBooks, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Sage, or other business accounting systems is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of SQL Server is a plus but not required.
- Strong time management and organization skills.
Salary/Wage/Classification
- Salary: $95k – $125k
- Exempt position
- Location: Denver, CO (Preferred) / Remote
