How to Troubleshoot Minimate crashing on Step 2
If the handheld is crashing on the Stops screen, please refer to this article
This is an indication that an item is not setup correctly for Handheld use
1. Identify the item# that is causing the crash - on the device, click on each item 1 by 1 to see what is causing the crash, it might be more than 1 item that needs to be reviewed
Moving from Step2 to Step3 via Green Arrow performs a "recalculation" of item prices and taxes. The Handheld crashing by clicking the green arrow on step 2 is also a result of bad item# configuration
2. Access ServQuest on your desktop, search for the item# in the Inventory Smart Grid and double click to open the Item Maintenance form
3. Check the following:
Settings tab | Is the item active? | |
Prism tab | Is the item set to export to the handheld? |
4. One the item data is fixed, perform a prepare for all drivers
5. Finally, The handheld will need to perform a FULL Sync after the prepare is complete
