V2- When clicking on connect in V2 cloud, and the RDP window is not showing
ISSUE:
A user is able to login to V2 cloud successfully, presses CONNECT to the server but nothing happens and no RDP window is opening. Typically it happens on a certain computer and other users are not affected by it.
RESOLUTION:
The resolution is for IT teams and suggests solutions based on Admin permissions on the computer.
1. Check that the USE RDP option is on
2. Re-Install V2
Make sure that the client is running the newest version of our app, which can be updated or downloaded again on the following URL www.v2cloud.com/download
3. Check Windows Firewall
Also, the client would need to allow it in Windows Firewall on his local PC, following this tutorial he can make that happen https://pureinfotech.com/allow-apps-firewall-windows-10/
4. Check that .NET framework is installed and launch the app, try to connect. If the user encounters an issue, please contact V2Cloud support.
